Day 1: Arrival at Amritsar & Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Amritsar railway station/airport, meet our representative and you’ll be driven to explore two of the most famous spots of Amritsar. Start your sightseeing with Shri Harmandir Sahib also known as The Golden Temple. Afterwards, you’ll visit Jaliawala Bagh which will remind you of atrocities and inhumanity committed by British rule upon our natives. Around 3 pm after noon, you’ll be driven to Wagah Border to witness “Beating the Retreat Ceremony” at Indo-Pak Border. Night stay is scheduled in Amritsar as per your Amritsar Dalhousie & Dharamshala itinerary.
Day 2: Amritsar to Dalhousie (200 km 5-6 hrs.)
This day as per your Amritsar Dalhousie & Dharamshala 5 days taxi tour, you’ll be driven to Dalhousie which will take almost hrs. to reach. Upon arrival visit Jandhrighat Palace erstwhile resident of royal family, Bara Pathar, Subhash Chowk & Subhash Bowli, named after great freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose. Don’t forget to visit Panjpulla & Satdhara Dalhousie. Dainkund Peak and GPO Dalhousie are also popular sights to visit. Your night stay is programmed in Dalhousie.
Day 3: Khajjiar Sightseeing
On the 3rd day of the Dalhousie Dharamshala trip, you’ll explore popular sight of Khajjiar. Early morning, leave for the sightseeing of Khajjiar which is 25 km from Dalhousie. Upon arrival explore the famous “Mini Switzerland” where you can do horse riding and paragliding as well. Also sit & relax on the banks of Khajjiar lake which will fill your heart with peace. Don’t forget to visit Panch Pandav tree of Khajjiar and Khaji Nag Devta temple. As per your Dalhousie Dharamshala & Mcleodganj tour itinerary, you’ll be driven back to Dalhousie for night stay.
Day 4: Dalhousie to Dharamshala (100 km 2-3 hrs.)
Today after checking out from hotel, you’ll be driven to Dharamshala which will take at most 3 hrs. You’ll explore most of the famous sights of Dharamshala today. Start your sightseeing with Dharamshala tea gardens where you can feel the fresh aroma of manicured tea. Next on the list is War Memorial dedicated to our Bravehearts. Also visit famous HPCA cricket stadium providing panoramic view of Dhauladhar ranges. There’s a lake named Dal Lake in Dharamshala which you should visit once. Seek he blessings of Kunal Pathri temple & visit Kangra Art museum as well. In evening stroll at Dharamshala Mall road and enjoy the local offerings. Nigh stay is scheduled in Dharamshala which will mark the end of your 4th day of 5 days taxi tour of Amritsar Dalhousie & Dharamshala.
Day 5: Mcleodganj Sightseeing & Drop
As per your Amritsar Dalhousie & Dharamshala itinerary, you’ll explore Mcleodganj today. After getting fresh, check out from hotel and explore Mcleodganj famous for its Tibetan Monasteries (Namgyal Monastery, KaalChakra Temple, DIo Tse Chok Ling, etc), Library of Tibetan Work, Dalai Lama temple, Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfalls, St John’s Church in Wilderness, etc. Afterwards you’ll be driven to Pathankot railway station which will take 2 hrs to reach.
