Day 1: Arrival at Leh
Upon arrival at Leh airport, our representative will pick you up and you’ll be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for acclimatization as it’s mandatory to rest for 48 hrs after arrival at Leh airport. In evening you can leave to explore Leh city on foot. Visit Leh Palace offering the panoramic view of Leh city, Zorawar Fort and Shanti Stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa. Night stay is scheduled in Leh city.
Day 2: Leh local sightseeing
The second day of your leh Ladakh tour is reserved for the sightseeing of various places like Hall of Fame, Ancient Shiv Temple, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill & River Sangam on Leh Srinagar Highway. On the way back to leh, click show some photography skills at Indus View Point. Night stay is scheduled in Leh city. This marks the end of your day as per leh tour itinerary.
Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardungla (130 km 5-6 hrs)
As per the 8 days Ladakh trip itinerary, today you’ll be driven to Nubra valley. Start early so you don’t miss the morning view of Leh city from Glacier Photography Point. While crossing one of the highest motorable roads of the world, halt at Khardungla for some refreshments. Khardung La pass also known as gateway to Nubra & Shyok Valleys, is now the second highest motorable road after UmlingLa Pass. Visit Diskit monastery & enjoy double humped camel ride at Hunder desert. Night stay at Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Turtuk Sightseeing (180 km 9-10 hrs)
As per your Ladakh 8 days trip itinerary, your 5th day of the trip is scheduled to visit Turtuk village. It is located in the Nubra Valley, to the north of the Shyok River. The village is known for its apricot and apple trees, and its traditional mud-brick houses. It is also a popular tourist destination, as it offers views of the Karakoram mountain range. Night stay is scheduled in Nubra valley.
Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake (250+km 10-12 hrs)
Pangong Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful high-altitude lakes in the world. It is located in the Tibetan Plateau in China and extends into India. The lake is around 150 kilometers long and up to 30 kilometers wide. It is famous for its spectacular views and its clear blue waters. Today you’ll be drive to Pangong via villages of Shyok Durbuk & Tangtse.
Day 6: Pangong to Tso Moriri (380 km 12-13 hrs)
On the 6th day of your Leh Ladakh taxi tour package, you’ll drive along Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri Lake. Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri road trip is one of the most beautiful and scenic road trips in India. The route takes you through some of the most stunning landscapes in the country and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Night stay at Tso Moriri.
Day 7: Tso Moriri to Leh (250 km 8-10 hrs.)
It’s time to head back to Leh today from Tso Moriri. You’ll be driven back to Leh today via Chumathang region as per your leh Ladakh tour itinerary for 8 days. On the way visit various monasteries of Hemis, Thicksey & Shey. Upon arrival at Leh, call it a day.
Day 8: Drop at Airport
This day will mark the end of your 8 days Leh & Ladakh taxi tour. You’ll be dropped at Leh airport as per your flight timings. Take back plenty of memories to cherish for the lifetime.
