Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla (130 km | 3-4 hrs)
As per your Complete Himachal Taxi tour for 9 days, you’ll be picked up from railway station/airport and afterwards will be driven to Shimla. On the way you can halt at Pinjore Garden, Parwanoo’s timber trail, Barog & Sankat Mochan Temple. Night stay is scheduled in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla Local Sightseeing
On day 2 of your Himachal taxi tour, you’ll visit Kufri, one of the major tourist attraction around Shimla. Here you can enjoy horse ride from Kufri to Mahasu top, enjoy shopping in the local market and visit Himalayan Nature Park (Tuesday closed). Day 3: Shimla to Manali via Kullu (260km | 8-10 hrs.)
It’s time to say goodbye to Shimla on day 3. Leave for Manali early in the morning so you enjoy visiting, Pandoh Dam, Sudernagar Lake & Shawl factory at Kullu. Also, relish some paragliding and river rafting at Kullu. Afterwards resume your journey to Manali which will take another 2 hrs. This marks the end of your fourth day of taxi tour of Himachal
Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing
Start you day around 8-9 am in the morning by visiting ancient Hadimba Devi Temple. Next on your bucket list is Vasisht Hot Water Spring, Jogini Falls & Manu Temple at Old Manali. Continue exploring Museum of Himachal culture & Folk Art, Arjun Gufa, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery & Club House. Nights stay is planned at Manali.
Day 5: Solang Valley & Atal Tunnel Sightseeing
Your 5th day of the Himachal trip is scheduled to visit Solang Valley as per Shimla Manali taxi tour itinerary. Start your tour by visiting Solang Valley also known as adventure capital of Himachal. There are a number of adventure activities that you can enjoy in Solang namely paragliding, ziplinig, zorbing, river crossing, trekking, Gondola ride, Balloon ride & Jeep Safari. You can do a number of snow activities in winters. Also spare few hours to explore recently inaugurated Atal tunnel which is a 10 km long tunnel. Night stay at Manali.
Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala via Palampur (230 km | 6-7 hrs)
Today after checking out from hotel, you’ll be driven to Dharamshala which will take at most 7 hrs. On the way halt at emerging travel spot Palampur for refreshment Pay a short visit to Saurabh Van Vihar followed by Palampur tea gardens. Afterwards contibute to Dharamshala where you’ll explore most of the famous sights today. Start your sightseeing with Dharamshala tea gardens where you can feel the fresh aroma of manicured tea. Next on the list is War Memorial dedicated to our Bravehearts. Also visit famous HPCA cricket stadium providing panoramic view of Dhauladhar ranges. There’s a lake named Dal Lake in Dharamshala which you should visit once. Seek he blessings of Kunal Pathri temple & visit Kangra Art museum as well. In evening stroll at Dharamshala Mall road and enjoy the local offerings. Nigh stay is scheduled in Dharamshala which will mark the end of your 6th day of 9 days taxi tour of Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie & Dharamshala.
Day 7: Dharamshala Local Sightseeing to Dalhousie (90 km | 2-3 hrs)
As per your Himachal 9 days tour itinerary, you’ll explore Mcleodganj today. After getting fresh, check out from hotel and explore Mcleodganj famous for its Tibetan Monasteries (Namgyal Monastery, KaalChakra Temple, DIo Tse Chok Ling, etc), Library of Tibetan Work, Dalai Lama temple, Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfalls, St John’s Church in Wilderness, etc. Afterwards you’ll be driven to Dalhousie which will take 2 hrs to reach. Upon arrival visit Jandhrighat Palace erstwhile resident of royal family, Bara Pathar, Subhash Chowk & Subhash Bowli, named after great freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose. Don’t forget to visit Panjpulla & Satdhara Dalhousie. Dainkund Peak and GPO Dalhousie are also popular sights to visit. Your night stay is programmed in Dalhousie.
Day 8: Dalhousie Local Sightseeing
On the second last day of the Himachal taxi tour, you’ll explore popular sight of Khajjiar. Early morning, leave for the sightseeing of Khajjiar which is 25 km from Dalhousie.
