Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali (375 km | 10-12 hrs.)
At Chandigarh railway station/airport, meet our representative and the you’ll be driven to Manali. On the way halt at Kullu for some adventure. One can enjoy river rafting and paragliding in Kullu. Also you can visit famous Kullu shawl factory to have a glimpse at manufacturing of handmade Kullu shawl. Afterwards continue to Manali. Night stay is scheduled at Manali.
Day 2: Manali to Kaza via Kunjum Pass (200 km | 9-10 hrs.)
On day 2 of your 7 days Manali & Spiti taxi tour from Chandigarh, start early to Kaza and cross Solang Valley & famous 10 km long Atal Tunnel which will lead you to Kaza. On the way halt at Sissu to explore Sissu lake & waterfalls while you’re on Gramphu Kaza road. Also halt at Koksar & Batal on the way. Don’t forget to visit the revered Kunjum Gompa while crossing Kunjum Pass. Continue your journey to Kaza and schedule your night at distt. headquarter of Lahaul & Spiti.
Day 3: Kaza to Tabo
As per your 5th day Spiti tour itinerary, you’ll be driven to Tabo village today. On the way enjoy the scenic views of desert mountains from the window of your cab while driving near the banks of Pin river tributary. Before reaching Tabo, head on to Dhankar village dotted on a steep mountainous valley. Here, visit the age old Dhankar fort overlooking Dhakar village and protecting revered Dhankar Gompa. The views of village from the fort will definitely make a unique place in your heart. Afterwards drive to tabo and this marks the end of your day.
Day 4: Tabo & Pin Valley Sightseeing to Kaza
Start early to explore the Tabo village which has very unique Tabo monastery with unique wall paintings. Afterwards while you are on the way to Kaza, cross Atargo bridge to have a quick exploration of Pin Valley. You’ll be welcomed by Pin Valley National Park entry gate. Continue your unforgettable road journey to Kungri Gompa. Spend some time soothing your eyes with the heart melting views of Pin Valley. Afterwards come back to Kaza and call it a day there as per your Manali Spiti Valley itinerary.
Day 5: Kaza to Chandertaal (100 km | 12-14 hrs.)
Kaza is the district headquarter of Lahaul & Spiti district. This day is entirely reserved to explore some of the astounding places in and around Kaza. Start your exploration with Langza, where you’ll witness a beautifully carved Buddha statue. Next on your Spiti itinerary is Hikkim known for world’s highest post office. Then continue your journey to architectural marvel of Spiti i.e. Key Monastery. Also visit Komick village once known as of the highest motorable village. Don’t forget to click a selfie at Asia’s highest bridge at Chicham. Drive further to Chandertal and enjoy night stay at camps. This will mark the end of your 5th day of Manali & Spiti taxi tour
Day 6: Chandertaal to Manali (120 km | 10hrs.)
This will be your second last day of the 7 days Manali & Spiti taxi tour. Today you’ll cross Kunjum Pass & Batal to reach Manali. Halt at Kunjum Gompa for some refreshments. Before reaching Manali you’ll cross 10 km long Atal Tunnel & Solang Valley, adventure hub of Himachal. Your 8 days long taxi tour of Shimla, Spiti & Manali will conclude here.
Day 7: Manali to Chandigarh (375 km | 10-12 hrs.)
This will be your last day of the Kinnaur & Spiti Taxi tour. Today you’ll cross Kunjum Pass & Batal to reach Manali. Halt at Kunjum Gompa for some refreshments. Before reaching Manali you’ll cross 10 km long Atal Tunnel & Solang Valley, adventure hub of Himachal. Your 8 days long taxi tour of Shimla, Spiti & Manali will conclude here.
